Random aside …. has anyone noticed that in the first episode of the reboot the Doctor was at the Kennedy assassination, and we know from Quantum Leap that so was Sam Beckett … so maybe the Doctor was just evaluating him to see if he was ready to fly the Enterprise? Just a thought.
