Answers in Genesis openned their “Ark Encounter” theme park today. Dan Arel of Patheos, and author of Parenting without God was there to for the protest along with a slew of Atheist Activists like Aron Ra, Dave Silverman, David Smalley from Dogma Debate … just a bunch of good folk protesting against government money being spent on religious indoctrination.
Dan has written for CounterPunch, CommonDreams, AlterNet, Time Magazine, On Faith, Salon, and many others. He maintains a full-time blog on the Patheos Network called Danthropology and writes a column of the same name for American Atheist magazine.
