The Great Old One Rises

Begin seated on the floor with your legs underneath you and your arms at your side. Hunch your back, bringing your chin to your chest and exhale completely.
Slowly begin to inhale. As you do raise your arms above your head, stretching your spine straight. Take several breaths as you hold this position.
If you wish, at this time you may intone “IA” (inhale: eeeeee, exhale: aaaaaah, inhale: eeeeee, exhale: aaaayy)
After several breaths, inhale deeply again as you rise off your legs and into a standing position. Keep your arms outstretched above you. Take one last deep breath, deep as you can, deep as the fabled sunken city. As you exhale, slowly sweep your arms back to your side.
You should now be standing straight, with arms at your sides and your feet together.
