Stage just wrote a great article about her activist cause of suicide awareness and prevention over at CNN and will be appearing on Anderson Cooper 360 tomorrow night (Sunday June 24, 2018, 7pm est). Much as we love the Coop over here in The Diner and are sure it’s a great interview that you should definitely watch, we also want to give you some additional background on the subject via our 2016 interview with Des. Dese’Rae is a suicide survivor and photographer by trade, her activism project Live Through This documents, visually and in their own words, the lives and stories of suicide survivors. It’s a really cool thing about a topic we all too often sweep under the rug as a society.
