The Miskatonic University Beginner’s Guide to Old Ones Yoga

The Miskatonic University Beginner’s Guide to Old Ones Yoga is now available for Kindle!

Part parody of the world of H.P. Lovecraft’s fiction, part parody of yoga manuals. All very silly.

It is a book from a world that isn’t, the Miskatonic University Beginner’s Guide to Old Ones Yoga blends new age with old-school horror. If you’re fan of the mythology in the works of the late, great HPL it’s certainly good for a laugh. If you also enjoy a good stretch now and again but don’t like all the spiritual aspects of yoga, this might convince you to think about it in a different way and sign up for a class anyway. But ultimately it’s about mashing up two cultural worlds that usually don’t hang out together. Plus it’s got pictures of monsters doing yoga.

Adorable, right?!

Even better, if you’re a kindle owner and an Amazon Prime member, you can read it for free in the Owner’s Lending Library. Which I think is pretty awesome.

But if you use a Kindle app or aren’t a Prime member we’re setting a pretty standard price for this sort of thing.

Checking it out isn’t just about the book, though. It helps keep things running around here because we don’t have advertising on the podcast and we’d like to keep it that way.

Think of it like supporting NPR, except it’s a novelty chapbook instead of a tote-bag, and there’s only one show. So please, if you’re a listener, or you just like what we’re trying to do, or if you just think yoga should be spookier, check out the book today.
