Wow, what a crazy week it was for co-host Andy and I. We’re still trying to sort out what the heck generated this level of interest in our show all of a sudden, and we love you for it. Really. I feel better about .. just about everything. Validation like this is a gift:
Funny thing though. If you’re a fan of the show you know we’ve been running audible and Amazon ads. I’ve got to tell you … they’re less than great. Not where we’d like to be.
The truth is, we do this show out of pocket. I have a career out here in Tempe, AZ and Andy works like 3 night jobs in Brockton, MA while being the primary caregiver to his 3 kids. If we could get the show to the point where Andy could quit just one of his jobs … that would just be the best thing ever and we’d definitely make you more things.

Please, really really truly please. If you like our show and you like what we do please at least consider becoming a patron. Our episodes will still go out like they always have every Monday for everyone for free, but we’ll be posting all kinds of bonus content starting later this month that only patrons will be able to see and enjoy, you’ll get the perks that we talk about on there, it’s win-win. We just need this.
I’ll be honest, monetizing a podcast is HARD. And that’s kind of ok because in all honesty it doesn’t cost a lot of money to do .. but it does cost a lot of “sweat equity”. Wrangling guests, juggling schedules, taping, editing, publishing, hosting … these things all take a lot of work that Andy and I do because we love it … but we do kind of feel like at this point we should get some monetary kudos for it.
